Is it possible to get a w2k3 server to email when it has completed a backup? |

Yes - you can use BLAT or similar (google for it) and then use a batch file
to run the backup itself...which specifies the BLAT commands in it.
If you're using NTBackup & aren't a whiz with batch files for this stuff,
try checking out BackupAssist - it's a handy little "wrapper" application
for NTBackup & I think it may do emailing as well. I believe there's an eval
for download. |

Yes, it is.
(In case you wanted to know HOW - use a Command Line
mailer such as blat.exe.) |
