If I set my PDC operations master to point to an external NTP server will all
domain controllers automatically sync their time with the PDC operations
master?

Is this automatic because I have domain controllers that point to
time.windows.com and their type is NT5DS. If I just leave those settings in
the registry for the other domain controllers will it just ignore them and
sync their time with the operations master?

It should be pretty much automatic once you set the master to advertise
itself as a reliable time source.
