try speaking english...
but it depends on which test you are talking about...
the 640-507 is LONG gone, you're SOL...
the 640-607 is ending in may, i beleive...
the 640-801 is now out...
640-507 -> 640-607
the 507 test was harder, and the 607 test is more straight forward. They dropped IPX/SPX from the lineup... don't know much more about that. If you did well on the Network academy final exam (semester 4)... you might try buying a for dummies book, reading it and trying for the 607 test. It has a few more chapters, but was really a transition test.
640-607 -> 640-801
the 801 is supposed to be in almost english, rather than ciscanese. It is supposed to be the most blunt test so far, but it does have about 6 more chapter than the 607. Cisco is currently offering bridge classes for 607 students who need more time. This is the new 3.0 curriculem test. If you took the 507 class and want to take this... I suggest going for a bit more in your arsenal than a for dummies book... Instead for for Lamelle's CCNA Study Guide 640-801 book. It WILL take a while to read, but you
are almost garaunteed to pass if you can absorb the information.
if you are speaking about an older test, give up and take the couse again... or get the CCNA study guide book if you think you can handle it on your own. It will be REALLY hard though, as token ring etc have been phased out a lot. _________________ visit http://www.wildcherryhost.com |
