Hi, This question is from the 642-811 BCMSN. I am not sure if the VLAN Trunking Protocol domain is the management domain. Can someone make it clear for me what is the management domain in VTP.

Somewhere I read it said, "VTP servers and clients have to be in the same VTP domain and management domain."

What is that management domain? Isn't it the VTP domain in other word?

According to CISCO, it's the same thing - "A VTP domain (also called a VLAN management domain)..." http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat6000/121_8aex/swconfig/vtp.htm
