well i just singed up for school in Computertraining.com they say u will have your certs in 6 months mcse mcsa mcp and cisco system they also teach u how to lay cable for networks it is about 20 grand for the class and they help u get a student loan after that u have all the certs and can pick what u want to do but for a job that will always be there look in the help area
there are always ppl that mess up there computers and need someone to fix it u can work for yourself or a large co.
that is my personal op hope it gave u some ideas or info take it easy and good luck on your test _________________ rem ppl stuff happends the way u deal with it is what counts in life |

| i too am faced with the decision of enrolling at computertraining.com. i have been searching for them through google and am disturbed by the lack of information i have found about them. what i have found about them doesn't seem to be good. i was hoping that you could let me know how your experience has been going so far. it's alot of money to spend, so i'm very skeptical. and if all of those 'success stories' are true, i would expect to find more about them on the web. i realize that i'm responding to a post that's a year old... anyway, i would appreciate whatever you might have to say about them, good or bad. thanks. |

If anyone is gonna read this, I went to comoputertraining.com back in 2001. They are a crock, take it from me. Self-study is the way to go that way you're not throwing away $25k. They do not help you find a job and when I went there, it wasn't very "hands-on". And believe me, if you're gonna get certified, you need more hands-on learning than what they offer. They may have gotten a little better over the past few years, but I doubt it. I got my MCP and was never able to find a job with it. Not that that was computertraining.com's fault, but they didn't care....to say the least. I never continued with the exams because I couldn't afford it and it wasn't benefiting me anyway. Now I'm stuck with these certs. that I can't use and don't even transfer into college credit. My advice? Find an IT college to take your exams and get a degree...that way you're not wasting time and money getting certs. and maybe not being able to find a job, like me!! Good luck. _________________ -AMANDA- |
