A: Yes and no. Some would say no, but that is probably because they
don't want to take the lower salaries that are offered these days. I
would say that any CCIE absolutely should be able to find work, it
just may not pay him/her what he/she thinks it should.

American and Canadian markets are probably the toughest hit because we suffered a bigger meltdown than the rest of the world. We also have
more CCIEs that the rest of the world. So that is not a good combination.

Here in Europe we also have a very very hard moment. Think that you have more CCIEs, but your market is surely bigger. What I see here is that CCIE salaries are something like a half than 2 years ago. Even that, you will find a job much easier if you have this cert, wich still is very valuable. I don't know any CCIE unemployed.
